Michal Mravec is an investment manager at Inven Capital, a Czech Republic based venture capital fund focusing on investments in mid to later stage smart energy startups in Europe and Israel. Michal has joined Inven in 2016 and since then has been responsible for three investments: Sunfire (Board Observer), Cloud&Heat (Board Observer) and Driivz (Board Member), assisting also in other numerous opportunities and investment. His previous professional experience includes managing operations of a technological startup; working in the strategy department of the largest Central European utility CEZ, with focus on market analysis, forecasting, plant optimization and trading support; and research activities at the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences with emphasis on energy market liberalization. Michal holds a PhD in economics and a masters degree in computer science.
