At Centrica, Idan is actively seeking early stage energy related companies and more specifically at the areas of: Distributed Energy & Power, Connected Home, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, IOT, Electric Vehicle, Big Data and Analytics. Idan has been actively engaged in the Israeli startup scene for the last 15 years, from SW engineer position in a startup ( P-cube) that was later acquired by Cisco, to a principal investor in one of Israel’s largest VCs, Evergreen Ventures ( $700M under management). Following that, Idan joined a startup team in Alcatel-Lucent that initiated a new business unit for telecom cloud infrastructure. Recently, he was been the CEO of PeoplePost, a Social Travel Startup which provided a platform for travelers to share their experiences, recommendations and make their hotel bookings. Idan holds a BA in Computer Science and Economics from Tel-Aviv Academic College and MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
