DR. OLE MENSCHING

Partner @APOLLO Ventures (Germany)

Ole started his career at the company builder TruVenturo, first as Head of New Markets and since 2014 in a partner role helping to scale companies like HomeToGo, Finanzcheck or Dreamlines. He is a board member in several TruVenturo companies. Furthermore he consults the portfolio companies regarding their strategical HR needs and supports them in hiring and building up excellent teams.

In 2016 together with two other partners Ole founded Apollo Ventures investing in biotech companies within the longevity space focusing on therapeutics against age related diseases and aging itself. 

Apart from his venture activities, Ole has founded CareerTeam a headhunting agency focusing on digital executives and experts. With a headcount of over 100 employees and offices in Hamburg, Berlin and Zurich CareerTeam is market leader in the DACH region in helping medium-sized companies and corporates to built up digital teams.
Ole studied economics at the University of Cologne, with emphasis on business psychology and the strategic interaction of markets. He continued this course by finishing his Ph.D. with distinction at the Universities of Cologne and California, Berkeley.
