Francois Xavier Meyer joined SEB Alliance in 2011 at the foundation of the investment vehicle. A French-German and a graduate from ESCP Europe (Paris-Oxford, Berlin) Business School and the German Diplom Kaufmann, Francois began his career in the telecoms/media M&A department of Lehman Brothers in London. He later moved to the Transactions Services department of PwC in Paris. Francois then joined the French packaging company Ileos as a strategy and development manager and later UFG Private Equity (now UFG-Siparex).
Groupe SEB created SEB Alliance, its Corporate Venture investment company, in order to reinforce its technology watch and leverage its innovation strategy. SEB Alliance is designed to identify and invest in early stage companies developing disruptive technologies and/or new business models.
